Travel Directions to Deep Bay, BC Vancouver Island

Getting here is easy!

Driving
Deep Bay is on the central east coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada between Nanaimo and the Comox Valley. Once you are on Vancouver Island you just drive north from Victoria or Nanaimo, or South from the Comox Valley, on Hwy 19 (the fast route) or 19a (the scenic route) to Deep Bay and follow the signs to the government wharf.

Deep Bay, BC is located in scenic Lighthouse Country (Baynes Sound and Qualicum Bay). From Deep Bay there are amazing views across Baynes Sound toward the Chrome Island lighthouse as well as Denman & Hornby Islands, Texada Island and the snow-capped peaks of the Coast Mountain Range on the BC mainland. Getting to Vancouver Island
To get to Vancouver Island you can fly or take a ferry.

Fly
Two major Airlines and several smaller carriers fly into both Nanaimo (to the south of Deep Bay) and Comox (to the north of Deep Bay). Both cities are about a 40 minutes drive away. Check Air Canada, WestJet & Pacific Coastal Airlines for flight information.

Ferry
You can take a ferry from Vancouver, Tsawassen or Powell River on mainland BC (click here for a link to BC Ferries) or Port Angeles, Washington (click here for a link to the Port Angeles Ferry).
